Currently, we are adding a District Manager to our team to oversee and support our growing operations in Manitoba. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ people management experience within the retail or hospitality industry.
  • Post secondary education in Business Administration, Hospitality, or Retail Management (preferred).
  • Experience analyzing financial or sales data, making informed business decisions.
  • Experience working with best-in-class retail operations, leading multi-door operations a definite asset.
  • Have a proven track record of driving operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Are self-motivated and have exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Possessing knowledge of cannabis is an asset; enthusiasm is a must.
  • Able to complete the Provincial Cannabis Certification program & successfully complete all required background checks.
  • Able to leverage technology, skilled in POS, Social Media and MS Office.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE:

  • Building your amazing team; developing through recognition, coaching and enthusiastic communication. Conduct regular store visits along with weekly District meetings to understand the needs and opportunities within your teams.
  • Ensuring your District operates at its highest level, with commitment to regulatory compliance practices and efficient operations. Aligning day-to-day business with brand strategy, marketing & sales objectives, and long-term financial and key performance targets.
  • Reviewing regional financials, KPI’s, secret shopper reports, and store level marketing efforts.
  • Facilitate and lead all NSO’s and NSA’s within the region, positively representing the organization to ensure buy in from all stakeholders. Working collaboratively with NSO / NSA leads to ensure timelines are met.
  • Provide consistent support with the personal development of the store managers in your District
  • Build a best-in-industry guest experience and then make it even better.
  • Create a culture of learning within your teams as well as with our guests. Ensure ongoing development for your teams on job related skills and product education using the tools/resources provided.
  • Conduct performance reviews with Store Managers. Working with People and Culture to lead the professional development planning of all Store Managers and Assistant Managers within the designated region.
  • Leading the most beautiful shops in the industry and maintaining their shine.

  • Foster an inclusive & welcoming environment where everyone knows and participates in ensuring the wellness, health, and safety of our colleagues and guests as our top priority.

  • Work in conjunction with department leads within the company to provide our people
