Location: New York, NY
Position Overview: The Metro On Premise District Manager will have the responsibility of developing relationships with the top on premise accounts in Metro NY and properly execute and develop Palm Bay’s sales priorities in the marketplace. Ensuring the delivery of consistent growth, innovation expansion and exciting local execution of our brands programs. Effective relationship building and management of our wholesale partner will be an integral function of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5 years of distributor or supplier experience
- Spirits & Wine experience
- A foundation of spirits & wine intelligence and the ability to educate others
- On premise sales experience
- Competitive and Charismatic personality
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
- Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and in a dynamic, high energy, team-oriented atmosphere.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft office
- Ability to lift up to 35 poundsSafe driving record
Responsibilities:
- Calling on top on-premise accounts in metro NY with major focus in NYC
- Reaching sales objectives while staying under company specified budget
- Manage existing account base and develop/target new accounts currently not activated
- Drive and manage on premise specific objectives with wholesaler partner
- Develop on premise specific objectives and strategies
- Work with distributor reps and managers to increase product knowledge and mind share
- Develop menus, creative events, and implementation of marketing POS to effectively represent our brands at point of purchase
- Skilled in social media and able to communicate information about PBI brands online effectively
- Coordinating activations and wine dinners to encourage trial and create brand advocates
- Communicate market conditions back to sales leadership
- Manage individual T&E budgetPrepare and execute Supplier market visits which include Distributor education and general sales meetings
