DISTRICT MANAGER – PLAYER COACH

We have an exciting opportunity for a team member to work as Fitness World’s District Manager – Player Coach This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, detail oriented, and hard working individual.
The District Manager – Player Coach reports to the Vice President (VP). This position has dual responsibilities as a General Manager of a club and a District Manager of two to three clubs. The District Manager – Player Coach builds and maintains an engaged and high performing team of General Managers, supporting Fitness Managers and/or Assistant Fitness Managers, and ensures a best-in-class fitness experience for employees and members. The District Manager – Player Coach is also responsible for the achievement of financial results, employee and member retention and satisfaction; execution of company policies, procedures and programs; and exemplifying the company’s culture and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Continued execution of the General Manager job description and responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain an engaged and high performing team of General Managers, supporting Fitness Managers and/or Assistant Fitness Managers within your district.
  • In collaboration with the General Managers, create development plans for the General Managers, whilst supporting Fitness Managers and/or Assistant Fitness Managers within your district for their ongoing success.
  • Key point of contact and support for General Managers, Fitness Managers and/or Assistant Fitness Managers within your district.
  • Monitor your clubs and districts Key Performance Indicators to achieve financial results.
  • Schedule a minimum of two club visits within your district per month, excluding your home club.
  • Update the VP a minimum of once per week on your clubs and districts performance, opportunities, risks and trends.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.
