Description:

DISTRICT MANAGER, INSTITUTIONAL

Ecolab is seeking a District Manager to help grow our Institutional business, which offers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries. Customers include restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more. You will serve as the face of Ecolab, supporting and managing a team of Territory Manager who are providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HBO, bachelor or relevant education or experience.
  • Excellent in Dutch and English.
  • 5 years of management/supervisory experience (people manager).
  • Customer relationship development and management experience
  • Spending significant time with current and potential customers in the Netherlands
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate exceptional ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Strong developed coaching skills and eager to share knowledge.
  • Demonstrated selection, hiring, and team development skills.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • PC skills including MS Office, CRM system such as Sales Force and SAP

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Achieve the District budget on a consistent basis.
  • Hire, train, develop and lead a team of Territory Managers to achieve business objectives and sales growth objectives with and through the sales team.
  • Ensure team achievements sales and service goals and objectives by meeting key performance metrics and following established processes and protocols.
  • Emphasize Retain, Grow and Gain as development tool.
  • Deliver on financial expectations by holding associates accountable in delivering performance stands and enforcing TM minimum standards.
  • Achieve targeted sales, productivity, utilization, and profit goals
  • Grow and retain market share through management and delivery of premier customer service and sales initiatives
  • Significant face-to-face time with Territory Managers and customers; building relationships and driving customer retention
  • Conducts “ride along” fieldwork focusing on excellent service and sales competencies,
  • Ensure safety according to the Ecolab standards
    Position will support the Dutch division in the Netherlands, working area is East of NL
