Compensation Range:
Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $26.60 - $26.60 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:
Huntington Health is seeking a dynamic DEI leader to assist with driving transformational programs that positively impact our patients, employees, and community. Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) and Health Equity programs are a key strategic priority at Huntington Health. This role will report directly to the VP of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Wellness & Engagement; you will be responsible for independently leading various DEI and Health Equity projects.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

Minimum of one year of DEI or Health Equity experience, preferably within healthcare or a related sector. Demonstrated experience with relationship management and successfully partnering with multiple stakeholders.

SKILLS:

  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to handle, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks independently; a “roll up your sleeves” and actively make change happen
  • Strong project management skills
  • High level of Emotional Intelligence
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, balancing qualitative and big-picture impact alongside quantitative analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills plus cultural adeptness are a must, as well as comfort in influencing senior leaders and effectively tailoring communications across all levels of our organization
  • Ability to develop quick turn-around, practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Showcase lived experience and qualifications that will help you succeed in the role
