Job Summary
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Officer at will champion the integration of DEI principles into all facets of our operations and culture. This strategic leader will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within our employee base, member services, and community interactions. The DEI Officer will work across all departments to ensure that DEI values are embedded in every aspect of our work, contributing to a more equitable environment for both employees and members.
What You’ll Do
Lead the development and execution of strategic DEI initiatives and policies.
Collaborate with HR to integrate DEI principles into recruitment, hiring, retention, and professional development practices.
Partner with marketing and communications teams to ensure representation and inclusivity in branding and member communications.
Work with all departments to support the development and implementation of DEI strategies.
Conduct ongoing assessments of DEI efforts and report on progress to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Facilitate DEI training programs for staff at all levels to enhance awareness and understanding of DEI principles.
Serve as a liaison to the DEI Council, resource groups, and affinity groups within the organization.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and sustain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decisions.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders including senior leadership and community partners.
Knowledge of relevant DEI and HR legislation and regulations.
Cultural competency, enabling effective working across diverse populations.
