MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in business, social work, health, or related degree to the business program area is preferred.
- Seven (7) years of work experience in a nonprofit organization, with five (5) years at senior management level.
- Or any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Appropriate licensure, if required by the business program area.
- Experience in managing program development, growth, planning and evaluation, budget management, and proposal development.
- Has the ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness

Responsibilities:
- Strategic
- Keeps informed of developing trends in the community relating to the program area and recommends program response to those needs when applicable.
- Provides information and outreach about program area to the Board, Advisory Committees, other Catholic Charities leaders, government entities and the community at large.
- Participates in Cabinet and Board level meetings and provides strategic insight and collaborative decision making at the agency level.
- Regularly reviews departmental programs for consistent and efficient operations and develops improvements where necessary.
- Program Administration
- Oversees all program operations of the division.
- In coordination with the Development Team, develops and maintains relationships with multiple funding sources, such as government entities, assuring that funding proposals and reports are prepared in a thorough and timely manner.
- Responsible for division compliance with any relevant accreditation, licensing rules and regulations, addressing in a timely manner any correction orders, and being a proactive partner with the licensing and regulatory bodies to anticipate changes and possible problems before they occur, when possible.
- Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the relevance, accuracy, and timeliness of data and reporting for purposes of accountability and client outcomes
- Supervision
- Provides direct supervision to management staff. Convenes divisional staff and management staff on a regular basis to assure effective communication within the Division and the agency.
- Community Relations
- Participates in national, regional, and local activities and conferences.
- Other duties as assigned.
