Description:

Papillion Sanitation, a Waste Connections company, has a position available for a Division Office Manager at our office in Bellevue, NE! This role will support our office leadership teams across the Heartland Division in addition to managing the Papillion Sanitation Office.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years of directly related expertise in administration and customer service
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
  • Organizing and coordinating skills
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily administrative operations including establishing work priorities and assisting in resolving problems related to the day-to-day operations
  • Aid and assist office personnel across the Heartland Division territory in executing their goals
  • Review monthly financials and assist with fiscal planning to Office expenses
  • Oversee and/or process payroll time sheets, PTO documents, travel reimbursements, and/or employment documents for the facility including drivers, maintenance employees, and office staff
  • Provide administrative assistance and support to the District Manager and Division Vice President, to include problem solving, project planning and management, day-to-day office coordination, and secretarial services
  • Oversee maintenance of employee records
  • May coordinate office assignments for the administrative staff
  • Coordinate department programs, seminars, workshops, travel arrangements, special projects, and/or events
  • Other duties assigned as needed
  • Promote Waste Connections core operating values, which assure efficient environmentally correct and safe workplace practices
  • Demonstrate the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systems
