You’ll be based in our Unicast office in Kelowna, with travel to our Micon and Procore locations in Merritt.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial/statutory reporting.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual operating results against budget.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
- Provide strategic analysis to drive improved decision-making.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to support planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategic business and operational plans, projects, and systems.
- Enhance cash positions through timely collection of receivables.
- Manage and optimize the ERP system, assisting staff with any issues encountered.
- Establish and monitor internal controls in accordance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Liaise with the Canada Revenue Agency and provincial/state equivalents for reporting and remittances.
- Guide accounting personnel on financial systems, record-keeping, analysis, and reporting.
- Hire, train, and coach accounting personnel to foster growth, skill development, and accountability.
- Coordinate year-end audit activities and manage financial reporting to third parties.
- Authorize payments and oversee the assignment of cheques, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Perform other related duties as required.
