Description:
Be responsible and accountable for the efficient and effective management of the total resources of the Division. To provide strategic leadership to the Division whilst maintaining a close focus on the operational detail providing effective communication and engagement. To support the Director of Operations for the delivery of the Trust wide transformation agenda and to work with commissioners about service developments and clinical care pathways. Be responsible for quality and financial performance of the Division and for driving through clinical efficiencies and continuous improvement.
Agreeing and working within an annual budget for income and expenditure, including efficiency / CIP requirements. To ensure that each Directorate in the Division delivers against specific performance targets and to discharge the accountability to Clinical Directors and Directorate Managers. To work in close partnership with the Clinical Director to ensure professional performance and clinical activity is effectively managed and services are developed appropriately. To contribute to the strategic direction and policy setting process of the Trust.
