Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Medicine Division at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust as a Divisional Operations Manager . This permanent role is based across dual sites—Peterborough City Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital—with occasional travel to Stamford, Doddington, and Ely sites.
As a key member of the management team, you will lead on the operational aspects of a Clinical Business Unit (CBU). Your role will be instrumental in delivering strategic leadership and ensuring the achievement of key national and local targets, including operational, financial, and performance goals.
You will be responsible for providing visionary guidance to multi-professional teams, working closely with medical, nursing, and operational staff to drive process improvements that enhance service delivery and patient care.

Lead the operational management of the Clinical Business Unit (CBU) within the Medicine Division.
Develop and implement strategies to meet national and local targets (operational, financial, and performance).
Provide leadership and guidance to multi-professional teams, promoting collaboration and efficiency.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance performance and reduce overspend.
Ensure timely and effective communication across teams and external agencies.
Monitor and report on performance metrics, ensuring alignment with Trust values and vision.
Contribute to strategic planning and the development of the Medicine Division.
