Description:

OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

ZeroFox seeks a DNS Engineer for designing, implementing, and managing DNS infrastructure to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our network. This role involves working closely with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT professionals to support the organization’s DNS operations and projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 5+ years experience in Linux/UNIX systems operations
  • 3+ years experience in DNS Administration and Operations, using one or more of: BIND, NSD, knot)
  • 1+ years DNSSEC operations experience, including work with High Security Modules (HSMs)
  • Extensive experience in scripting using UNIX-based tools, (shell, sed, awk, perl, etc.)
  • Experience with packet and traffic analysis
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DNS protocol and operations
  • Knowledge of domain name registration and resolution protocols beneficial
  • Python experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Experience working in AWS cloud environments
  • Experience and ability to work in FedRAMP environments

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Implement software infrastructure for DNS security, publication and resolution
  • Design next generation DNS infrastructure, including systems, networks, and cloud-based initiatives
