KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- At least 3 years’ experience in the Supply Chain Industry
- Previous leadership experience is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of logistical/planning processes and systems
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Inventory and stock handling experience
- Attention to detail, identifying order discrepancies and product deficiencies
- The ability to work on a cold storage environment
- A Forklift license essential for this position

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and or outbound orders
- Oversee the operations of a small team in the absence and in consultation with the Supervisor
- Labour allocation and prioritisation of orders
- Assess and resolve issues relating to transportation, picking, customer resolution and import and export
- Utilise warehouse management systems efficiently to optimise procedures
- Provide logistical support daily for both inbound and outbound shipments, including verifying safety procedures and overseeing quality assurance
- Arrange stocking of resources/materials to process orders
- Communication with operations team to ensure space for loading/ unloading
- Moving and unstacking pallets, loading and unloading trucks
- To be pro-active in resolving issues and problems before they occur
- Carrying out broad logistical activities, making use of the production equipment available
- Oversee stock adjustments and damages
