KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• At least 3 years’ experience in the Supply Chain Industry
• Previous leadership experience is highly advantageous
• Knowledge of logistical/planning processes and systems
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Inventory and stock handling experience
• Attention to detail, identifying order discrepancies and product deficiencies
• The ability to work on a cold storage environment
• A Forklift license essential for this position

• Coordinate and monitor inbound and or outbound orders
• Oversee the operations of a small team in the absence and in consultation with the Supervisor
• Labour allocation and prioritisation of orders
• Assess and resolve issues relating to transportation, picking, customer resolution and import and export
• Utilise warehouse management systems efficiently to optimise procedures
• Provide logistical support daily for both inbound and outbound shipments, including verifying safety procedures and overseeing quality assurance
• Arrange stocking of resources/materials to process orders
• Communication with operations team to ensure space for loading/ unloading
• Moving and unstacking pallets, loading and unloading trucks
• To be pro-active in resolving issues and problems before they occur
• Carrying out broad logistical activities, making use of the production equipment available
• Oversee stock adjustments and damages
