Role: Document Configurator
Job Location: Lisbon, Portugal /Hybrid
Job Type: 6 months contract
Overview
We are looking for a Document Configurator who will be configuring template specifications to support business needs regarding communication with our business brokers and customers.
The configurator will be working across multiple releases of a Transformation Programme and other initiatives withing a team of analysts, configurators and testers that will be delivering a set of Documents and E-mails to be trigger by our Core system. The configurator is expected to have some insurance background (not mandatory) and experience and have excellent communication skills and can adapt to a fast and ever-changing landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret document specifications to understand the requirements that need to be implemented
  • Consume and understand complex specifications and turn these into valuable product driven outputs
  • Support any queries from business team and testing phases
  • Collaborate with Project Manager, Business Analysts, testers, and other team members to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders, both verbally and in writing

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of products and assets to be developed
  • Good sense of User Interface requirements and development
  • Excellent understanding Document Template Designer
  • Domain Knowledge - in depth knowledge of products, asset classes
  • Knowledge of Smart Communications technology (is a plus)
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Good communication skills
  • Understanding of template specifications
  • Appreciation of insurance terminology/definitions.
  • Experience in working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and KanbanBe comfortable with ambiguity, and understands where ambiguity can be tolerated and where it needs to be eliminated
  • Must be able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Location and Duration
This is a contract position based in Lisbon, Portugal.
The duration of the statement of work is 6 months, with a possibility of extension, depending on the project needs and performance.
It is a hybrid working environment, but the successful candidate will be happy to be onsite at least for 2 days per week.
