POSITION OVERVIEW

Ganotec is looking for a document control person to work in our Pointe-Aux-Trembles office.

DISTRICT OVERVIEW

As an industrial contractor, Ganotec is a full-service company serving the industrial sector in Canada. Ganotec has the capacity to offer all major disciplines including civil works, structural steel construction, mechanical equipment installation, piping, electrical, instrumentation and controls work. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary diploma in information management, library technologies, or archiving
  • Knowledge of InEight Document, TeamBinder, Aconex and Share Point is an asset
  • Ability to work swiftly and in a project environment
  • Fluent in French (spoken and written). Functional knowledge of English (written and verbal) is considered as an asset. Lessons can be provided as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement project document management procedures and maintain electronic project documentation systems.
  • Control project documents and estimates.
  • Master document management systems used on projects.
  • Perform quality validation on deliverables to adhere to our standards and those of our customers.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders such as project team members, customers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that the project document management process is followed.
  • Participate in the turnover effort for all project quality documents as required by customers.
  • Participate in the archiving of project and company documents.
  • Foster teamwork with the company’s document management group.
  • Good time and priority management.
