QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Requirements:
- 5 years experience
- Experience in change control
- Candidate must have proficiency in a windows based environment and software (Word, PowerPoint, project, advanced excel and access)
- Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills essential.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and on own initiative.
Desirable
- Engineering Document Management experience
- Experience creating / updating procedural documents
- Change Control experience

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementing and managing document control processes
- Maintaining documents and revisions to ensure complete and up-to-date repository of information that is correctly audited from all parties
- Distributing information to the relevant internal, designs and client teams
- Ensuring compliance across all project’s information in line with standards, protocols, and security measures (Review and accept incoming documents complete (legibility, doc no and revision).
- Liaising with external consultants and subcontractors regarding document management and approval requirements
- Producing and regularly updating trackers and reports for the project to record progress and update the team
- QA checking information to company information standards and ensuring it is distributed to the relevant workflows and reviewed appropriately by internal teams
- Data entry and maintenance of internal databases
- Incorporating all final drawings and packages into the site document management systems and complete the handover
- Maintain a project Master Document List
- Ensure a focus on workflow/work process improvement is designed into all doc control workflows.
- Ensure that all appropriate personnel are fully trained on doc control interfaces.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the growing Engineering Team here at TLI Group we are seeking a Document Controller to join the team to work on recently awarded design works associated with a number of transmission and distribution grid connection projects.
This is an office-based hybrid role.
