As a Document Controller, you will support our Engineering and Construction Management teams in various assignments. This position can refer to one of the four offices in Italy; the availability to travel abroad for a long period (depending by construction site duration) is required. Our current assignment is situated in Belgium.
We are looking for someone, matching the following main characteristics:

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelor Degree) or Diploma (with min 5 years of work experience at least)
  • previous experience in the role

Technical Competences:

  • Have strong PC competency (Microsoft Office, Excel and pivot table, working with PDF files, Document management systems, Share Point)
  • Have a strong attention to details

Social Competences:

  • Be a team player, adaptable and practical
  • Assuring the team work approach with a special focus on challenges due to decentralized teams

Prerequisites:

  • Preferred at least 1-2 years as Document Controller or similar position
  • Previous experience in chemical and/or Pharmaceutical fields is a plus
  • Fluent in Italian and English, additional language will be considered as a plus
  • Previous experiences in construction sites will be considered as a plus
  • Be driven to succeed and be willing to learn and in doing so support others in the team

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Engineering and Construction Management teams with document creation/sharing/archiving
  • Maintaining document registers on a daily basis
  • Checking document quality
  • Management of traceability / archiving of incoming and outgoing technical documents
  • Formal issue of documents by filling in transmittal, accompanying e-mails and uploading to Share Point
  • Collection, organization and supervision of final documentation (as-built, technical data sheets, certifications, etc.)
  • Report to construction manager
