Job Summary
We are seeking a Document Controller with experience in the construction industry to ensure the smooth and efficient management of project documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organisation, storage, and retrieval of project documents, ensuring that all records are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
We are currently looking for candidates based in Copenhagen, Denmark, surrounding areas and willing to commute or relocate.
Responsibilities
The Document Controller will play a crucial role in managing construction project documentation, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of records, and facilitating efficient communication across teams.
Manage and control project documentation in accordance with company standards and procedures
Organise, store, and retrieve project documents, including drawings, reports, and correspondence
Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to relevant team members
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely submission and review of documents
Monitor document workflows to ensure compliance with project timelines
Provide training and support to project staff on document control procedures
Maintain accurate records of document revisions, approvals, and distributions
Support the project team by providing reports on documentation status and outstanding issues
Our Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the Document Controller role has extensive experience in managing construction project documentation. They possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
1-3 years of experience in document control within the construction industry
Proficiency in document control software and systems
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of construction project processes and documentation requirements
Must have EU citizenship
