As we continue to grow, so too does our team. We are looking for the right candidate to take on the role of Document & Data Controller . This is a Full Time role, based at our Port Macquarie Office on the beautiful Hastings River in Port Macquarie, NSW.
The Document & Data Controller will report to the Project Controls Manager and is responsible for overseeing implementation of the data management strategy and data operations within the project. The strategy is developed in conjunction with the Engineering Manager, ILS Manager, Configuration Manager, and Digital ICT Manager. It is intended that this role supports the ongoing development of the strategy by contributing a deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and data architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Align document control policies and procedures for use across Project and Technical registers, including working with all project performance register owners to ensure quality and consistency in controls within Projects.
  • Ownership and maintenance of Drawing registers, Action registers, Document registers, Engineering registers, Procurement registers etc.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure that information and data is effectively managed and secured, and archived as appropriate.
  • Weekly and monthly report writing
  • Supervision/process assurance of all document control administrative tasks
  • Engagement with internal and external stakeholders in establishing clear lines of communication and meetings.
  • Development of all external and internal correspondence including commercial letters and formal reports
  • Collating all certifications and documentation for the vessels including AMSA, Class and certifying bodies.
  • Collating and management of verification and validation data for conduct of FCA’s
  • Collating and management of System Safety Program OQESupport Quality material traceability processes
