Work you’ll do

This role requires a proactive individual who can support the DoD Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) process, ensuring that resource requirements are thoroughly justified, well documented, and fully coordinated.

  • Expert Knowledge Application: Utilize in-depth knowledge of Air Force methodologies, procedures, and administrative processes to support the Air Force Corporate Structure.
  • Program Formulation and Monitoring: Formulate, justify, and monitor assigned logistics programs, leveraging comprehensive knowledge of Congressional legislation, OMB circulars, DoD directives, and Air Force policies.
  • Resource Justification and Coordination: Ensure resource requirements are thoroughly justified, well documented, and fully coordinated with Major Commands (MAJCOM), Core Function Leads (CFL), Program Offices, and the Air Force Corporate Structure.
  • Policy Development: Develop policies, procedures, and techniques to evaluate over $20B/year for full spectrum logistics requirements during all phases of the PPBE process.
  • Innovative Solutions: Build innovative solutions to validate funding requirements and articulate risks to the Weapons System Sustainment Portfolio using modern software platforms.
  • Collaboration and Testing: Work with internal and external technical experts to test and evaluate software and system capabilities from a functional end-user perspective.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Familiarity with modern software platforms used for validating funding requirements and risk articulation.
  • 2+ years of experience with the full spectrum of logistics requirements within the Air Force Corporate Structure.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing policies and procedures in a defense environment.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $109,00 - $181,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
