We are currently seeking dedicated Domestic Assistants / Cleaners to join the team providing support services at Bethanie Peel Aged Care Home located in Mandurah. Bethanie Peel is a warm and welcoming 50 bed facility set amongst landscaped gardens, with a personalised memory support area to safely and securely accommodate residents with dementia or similar conditions.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in cleaning ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment, and be of a friendly nature, as interaction with our residents is core to our culture.
We have two permanent part time roles available, working 22 hours per week across the following shifts:
- 6am – 1.30pm or 7am – 2.30pm on week days
- 7am – 1pm on weekends
You may also have the opportunity to be trained in and work across the roles of Kitchen Hand and Laundry Worker.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
- Ensuring bathrooms, toilets, furniture, fittings, floors and communal areas are kept clean and tidy
- Ensuring supplies are stocked across the facility
- Liaising with other employees to ensure the needs of our residents are met
- Ensuring residents’ personal clothing is individually labelled and put away in their rooms, identifying items that require mending
