Donation Processing is a vital part of NSPCC’s Income Generation Operations and is responsible for delivering the service and infrastructure that supports all the NSPCC’s fundraising.
The busy department has responsibility for dealing with supporter interactions and donations, plus supporting the fundraising database. This needs to be delivered effectively, efficiently and executed flawlessly. This enables us to deliver excellent levels of service to our supporters as well as all internal customers.
This role of Business Support Assistant is to work in a busy team responsible for the efficient and timely receipt, processing and thanking of donations and other supporter contacts received in house. Specifically, the person in this role will ensure we: -
- deliver high quality service to supporters for all the teams key processes.
- deal with fluctuating volumes of work received through using initiative and effective teamwork.
- achieve donation processing service standards.
- ensure accurate and consistent processes are followed that integrate all donation processing for all fundraising markets.
The person in this role will have a personal commitment to; ending cruelty to children, providing a high standard of service delivery and customer care, and applying NSPCC’s values and behaviours to all aspects of work.
The person will also have experience of:
- working in a customer focused environment
- maintaining electronic and paper administrative and information systems
- using Windows-based software packages including Word, Excel and Outlook and the Internet in order to deliver tasks and projects.
- using computers and/or CRM databases.
