The DPI Business Data Analytics Apprentice will be a part of the UL Solutions Business Insights team. This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in the field of data analytics while contributing to UL Solutions’ data-driven decision-making process.
This is a 12-month program and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
• Assist in defining, developing, and deploying data, analytics and reporting products and services that integrate and convey complex data/information and maintains data catalog to provide key data sources to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop Business Intelligence (BI) visualizations and KPIs by configuring BI software and performing data cleansing and mapping from various systems.
• Investigate and troubleshoot system and configuration issues impacting data quality and reporting.
• Liaise with senior team members & cross functional teams on more complex data issues and configuration.
• Draft detailed process documentation for data collection, mapping, validation, analysis, and visualization.

• Document and deliver end-user training, work instructions and job aides.

  • Successful completion of the DPI career development program
  • SQL experience
  • PowerBI, Python, and Excel experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with Power Automate is a plus
