The DPI Business Data Analytics Apprentice will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of data analytics while supporting IT projects and operations by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and help drive data-driven decision-making.
This is a 12-month program and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
- Assist with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends and patterns
- Observe and assist in the development and implementation of business strategies, gradually increasing your contribution as you gain experience and knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide analytical support
- Prepare and create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Support the development of business cases and project plans, gaining proficiency in project management within a data-driven environment.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation and process maps
- Take on additional duties as directed, with the scope and complexity of tasks increasing over the course of the apprenticeship.
- Successful completion of the DPI career development program
- Microsoft Excel and Power BI experience
- Data management and data integration skills with an ability to organize, analyze and correlate data information
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Previous experience doing large scale data analysis is a plus
