YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:
- Tabular Model Development: Develop, configure, and optimize tabular models using DAX, M-Query, and other relevant tools.
- Power BI and Microsoft Fabric Deployments: Manage and execute enterprise-scale solutions.
- Global Tool: Assist in the Global roll-out of the DPM Suite, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
- Change Management: Support the release of changes to production environments, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Agile Methodology: Oversee and manage Jira tasks in our agile framework to ensure timely and successful completion, aligning with business goals and strategy.
- IT Processes & Analysis: Analyze and improve IT processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions with MS Fabric and Power BI.
- Reporting: Provide service statistics, performance metrics, ad-hoc reports, and management reporting to support decision-making.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Knowledge of XMLA Endpoint: Understanding of XMLA Endpoint for managing and querying data models.
- Proven Expertise in DAX Coding, M-Query, and Tabular Modelling.
- Experience with Power BI Deployments: Proven experience in handling Power BI deployments at an enterprise scale.
- Decent communication skills to efficiently communicate in a remote environment.
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Good communication skills with the business, can translate technical language into business language.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Hands-on with Tabular Editor, DAX-Studio, and ALM-Toolkit
- Understanding of Version Control and Git Repositories: Familiarity with version control systems and Git repositories.
- Understanding and use of Snowflake as a Source (desirable)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field (IT, Economics, Software Field, Data Analytics)- Essential
- Masters Degree- Desirable
- At least two years of experience within a technical role (Anything such as Developer, Junior Developer, Technical Programme Manager)- Essential
