Job Description:
Provide and exceed quality customer service to restaurant guests by assisting servers anyway possible.
Responsibilities:

  • State-issued Food Handler’s Certification

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide highest quality customer service to all guests.
  • Be pleasant, smile, and greet all guests, using guest names.
  • Assist Server with greeting tables, refilling drinks, and providing table service.
  • Expedite food by inspecting dishes for visual appeal and to ensure that food is properly prepared and served at the proper temperature in a timely fashion.
  • Deliver food to correct guests in correct order.
  • Complete dining room attendant and food runner set-up and breakdown/side-work list.
  • Responsible for polishing glassware, rolling silverware, and setting tables before and during service.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment with a sense of urgency throughout entire shift.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment. Sweeping, vacuuming and wiping down areas when needed.
  • Must possess knowledge of dining room service procedures, table numbers and full familiarity with the food and beverage menu.
  • Demonstrate excellent team work with all Associates by communicating effectively and positively.
  • Able to perform other job duties as assigned by Managers and Supervisors.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS (FOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ONLY)

  • Able to read and write English proficiently
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Able to multi-task
  • Able to lift and carry 25lbs routinely and up to 50lbs occasionally
  • Able to bend, walk, sit, stand, squat, and lean in the course of daily business for extended periods of time
