Description:
Progressive Rubber Industries is currently looking for a Drafter who will also get valuable experience in project coordination to join our team. This position has the potential for career progression and includes a comprehensive benefit package.

QUALIFICATIONS
· 2D AutoCAD Experience is a requirement for this position.
· 3D AutoCAD/Inventor Experience is considered an asset.
· Engineering Technologist or equivalent experience is considered an asset.
· Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
· Create shop drawing submittal packages.
· Communicate & collaborate with PM Team to meet client drawing expectations.
· Modify shop drawings to reflect site dimensions.
· Issue work orders, provide detail drawings and plan implementation of projects by defining project scope, goals and deliverables, outline tasks and required resources, develop and manage project team and manage budget.
· Present to stakeholders both internal and external on project timeline, project progress, allocation of resources, manage change when necessary to meet project outputs and continually evaluate and assess progression of project through fabrication facility.
· Report and escalate to management as needed as well as be able to perform risk management to minimize risks associated with projects by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors.
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
· Work closely with Quality Control and Assurance to ensure project is being executed within stringent quality standards.
