POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter with hands-on experience in SolidWorks and Creo to join our [engineering/design] team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings, models, and documentation to support our product development and engineering projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Drafting experience with SolidWorks and Creo.
• Proficiency in creating detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D models.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Familiarity with additional CAD tools or simulation software.
• Understanding of ISO standards or industry-specific certifications.

• Develop and modify 2D and 3D technical drawings using SolidWorks and Creo software.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and other inputs to create precise models and layouts.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure design intent and functionality are accurately represented.
• Maintain and update CAD models and drawings to reflect changes and revisions.
• Assist in creating bills of materials (BOMs) and other documentation as required.
• Perform tolerance analyses and ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards.
• Support manufacturing and assembly teams by providing technical drawings and resolving any design-related issues.
