GENERAL DESCRIPTION

ANDRITZ BONETTI CANADA inc is looking for a Draftsman -Designer to design equipment drawings for the engineering department. The involvement of the design and drawings is done at several levels. The participation in the development of the design, calculations, and respect of the budget according to the equipment sold. A designer will actively participate in the development of the project assisted by the engineering manager until the approval of the customer.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• College diploma in a mechanical or drafting discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of drafting experience.
• Possessing a good work attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, collaboration and presentation skills.
• A team-based approach to results is required.
• Languages: French and English would be an asset Ability to work independently as well as in group settings.
• Proficiency in Solid Work logiciel
• ERP experience is an advantage
• Able to prioritize, multi-task and problem solve
• Must possess time management, communication (both written and oral) skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management, employees

• Produce general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings and material lists for approval and fabrication.
• Mechanical conceptor (Protocol, calculation, compliance with manufacturing standards)
• Establish material list for equipment fabrication
• Perform some simple design calculations under the supervision of an engineer
• Perform dimensional surveys of existing equipment at the customer’s site on an occasional basis.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures.
