Location: Head Office – Mississauga. (Remote)
Compensation: 18$-20$ per hour depending on experience.
Employment Type: Part-time.
Placement Date: Immediately.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented Draftsman with a strong background in mechanical engineering, and solid experience in creating precise technical drawings, models, and schematics, contributing to the development of innovative mechanical solutions

Main duties include:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software based on engineering designs and specifications
• Modify existing drawings as needed, incorporating changes in design and updating as-built documentation
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to clarify technical details and ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards
• Review engineering sketches, drawings, and blueprints to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Generate bill of materials (BOMs) and assist in the preparation of technical documents
• Ensure all drawings adhere to company, industry, and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of drawing revisions and document changes

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
• Experience with other CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) is a plus
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, technical standards, and manufacturing processes
• Experience in mechanical or industrial drafting is highly desirable
• Familiarity with project management tools and software
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches, drawings, and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and precise technical drawings
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
