Your main responsibilities
- Working in cooperation with project selected lead, engineering, and technical staff to successfully complete assigned projects.
- Prepare accurate building envelope & structural drawings, and sketches using CAD and Revit.
- Attendance at departmental and project meetings.
- Provide CAD and Revit support to designers and engineers throughout the project duration.
- Participate in regular skills training and professional development including attendance at seminars and courses.
- Maintain expected level of client service delivery quality on projects.
- Follow departmental processes on all engagements to successfully deliver to the client and achieve targeted project profitability
Your Profile
- Completed diploma in Architectural Technology.
- Be eligible and/or registered as a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)
- Position requires 0-5 years of experience with AutoCAD and Revit in the modelling and construction of full buildings and their components.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of Revit processes and techniques to be able to deliver projects on time to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Basic knowledge architectural and structural engineering processes and technical concepts.
- Possesses a good balance of technical and people skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and develop design drawings and sketches.
- Ability to work independently in both an office environment and home office location.
- A commitment to professional and customer service excellence.
- Problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate technical subject matter in business terms.
