Responsibilities:

  • Detailed Aluminum Curtainwall, Entrance and Window Shop Drawings.
  • Ensure understanding and accurate interpretation of Contract Documents, Architectural Drawings, Engineered Drawings, and follow Glass Canada’s standards.
  • Produce drawings and documents that are accurate and correct in accordance with the project requirements.
  • Prepare revised drawings as per RFI’s, SI’s, Change Orders, etc.
  • Ensure proper storage of all files, both paper and electronic.
  • Provide project coordination throughout the Drafting process and ensure that all inquiries are resolved promptly and in a courteous manner.
  • Assisting with the review of order entry information and preparation of approval drawings.
  • Creating approval drawings for projects including 3D models when required.
  • Creating accurate packages for fabrication.
  • Assisting the drafting department with general administrative duties.
  • Providing material parts list (take-offs) to Project Managers.
