SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

It is essential you have:

• Australian Citizen or Permanent resident
• Previous experience in 3D modelling and drafting in Solidworks.
• A can do attitude and highly motivated.
• Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to be hands on and assist is various assembly/prototyping when required.
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Can Do attitude, Energetic, Action orientated
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Hands on approach
• ERP Experience preferred
• Mechanical field experience preferred
• ISO Certification an advantage

ABOUT THE BUSINESS AND THE ROLE

Equipment Placement, manufacturer of Service Trucks and specialised products for the Mining and Construction industry, is currently seeking a candidate for a Solidworks Design Drafting position in Perth, Western Australia.

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your day to day role will involve:

• Producing Models and Drawings from design briefs
• Producing Models and Drawings from physical samples
• Organising digital drawing and production files and folders
• Management of Bill of Materials in ERP System
• Assisting with the Updating and Managing Company Certifications (ISO 9001; 14001; 45001), including but not limited to NCR’s, OFI’s and SWIMS.
