Description:
We are seeking a charismatic and skilled Drainage Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is not only technically proficient but also an excellent communicator, capable of engaging with the public and addressing their concerns with confidence and professionalism. This role involves designing, maintaining, and managing drainage systems while fostering positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community members.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in drainage system design, construction, or maintenance.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a charismatic and approachable demeanour.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS software, and other relevant engineering tools.
- Familiarity with local regulations and environmental guidelines for drainage systems.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience in public-facing roles or stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of sustainable drainage solutions and green infrastructure.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
