JR67487 DRAM Product Engineer (Evergreen)
At our Munich Development Center, we specialize in developing high-speed GDDR memories. These advanced technologies are integral to high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, graphic cards, game consoles, automotive applications, and autonomous driving. Our Munich team is involved in every stage of the product lifecycle, from gate-level design and layout to initial product validation, manufacturing tests, and final system-level testing.
We are looking for Product Engineers to join a forward-thinking team of engineers that solves complex problems, responsible for enabling Micron’s products with flawless and issue free release to both internal and external customers. Product Engineers are the key interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications

Must-Have:

  • University master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or computer science, with excellent grades.
  • Strong background in semiconductor physics, digital and analog electronics
  • Good Knowledge of semiconductor design, manufacturing, and failure analysis
  • knowledge of statistical analysis method or tools
  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and independent way or working
  • Strong attitude for teamwork
  • Fluent English skills

Nice-to-Have:

  • Programming skills in one or more common languages (Python and/or C++ preferred)
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods or tools
  • DOE (Design of Experiments)
  • Basic UNIX commands knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Verify the functionality of the DRAM devices by performing measurements with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and bench testers.
  • Analyze failures to identify the root cause.
  • Extract manufacturing parametric data and interpret it using appropriate statistical methods.
  • Define, develop, document, and validate test patterns to enable high volume manufacturing and continuous quality improvement.
  • Apply analysis results to drive yield enhancement, product cost and device performance using suitable algorithms.
  • Provide ideas for new DFT (Design for Test) and circuit architectures to support enhanced test capability.
