Description:

30237 (EXPATRIATE VACANCY) – DRILLING SUPERVISOR - AMOCA

At Eni , we are looking for a Drilling Supervisor within Eni México, S.de R.L. de C.V. in Offshore - Amoca , Mexico . You will be supervising the execution of drilling, completion and well intervention programs, managing rig site manpower, material supplies and stocks, and proposing solutions to operational difficulties which could otherwise delay well operations’ progress.

THIS IS THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THESE SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s degree
  • A valid IWCF certificate Level 4
  • Extensive field-based experience in drilling, completion and WO activities, and significant experience in well site supervision.

Technical knowledge and professional skills:

  • Drilling and Well Testing Operations
  • Drilling Units (onshore and offshore)
  • Drilling systems and hazards (loss circulation, shallow pressurized gas formations, carbonate reservoirs, HPHT wells)
  • Advanced drilling and well testing operational techniques
  • Well Testing Completion and WO
  • Gravel Pack
  • Well Bore Stability/Sand Control
  • Rig-less operations
  • Proven ability to function well in team environment
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively combine business and technical skills to ensure commercial issues are fully considered and communicated
  • Upper intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating drilling and completion activities in accordance with the approved program, approved governmental permits and requirements, established oil field practices, relevant company SEQ standards and established company best practices
  • Reporting to drilling superintendent on a regular basis on the progress of operations, and agreeing on any corrective action if necessary
  • Overseeing personnel, equipment and material safety at rig site operations
  • Ensuring that contractor personnel, services and materials are available at the rig site when required in order to avoid any delay in operations, and reporting any discrepancies or deficiencies
  • Ensuring that all contractors maintain their equipment in good and safe working conditions
  • Monitoring consumption and stock of materials available at rig site, and requesting personnel, materials and services in due time
  • Maintaining contact with all relevant contractor personnel to inform them of operational status and discuss relevant programs
  • Serving as the official company representative at the rig site in all matters
  • Participating as a member of the emergency task force in the event of blow-out or other major emergency
  • Leading, in emergency situations, the necessary means to safeguard personnel, the environment, equipment and the wellbore, according to existing plans
  • Other duties as required.
