Description:
Join Drive the Future internship program in Chile if you are a student in your last years of University or recently graduated. This is a full-time intern role in which you will receive several trainings & coaching to develop professional skills while experiencing our inclusive culture led by our principles: Service, Hearth, Curiosity, Courage and Excellence. In this opportunity the Legal Control team is looking a new intern.
As a Legal Entity Controller Intern you will have the opportunity to develop professional skills through various trainings and coaching and you wil support the team on Chilean entities (4) financial statements, capital adequacy, liquidity, credit and market risk controls and regulatory reporting related to all these topics, helping to ensure that accounting and regulatory reports are in compliance with local and corporate requirements.
Job responsibilities
Financial & Regulatory reporting
- Performs activities regarding accounting, financial statements, and regulatory reports preparation, that are generated for each legal entity (4) for corporate and local effects.
Corporate Governance and balance structure
- Helps generating regulatory metrics and reports.
- Monitors regulatory limits required by the local regulator (CMF)
Accounting books, financial statements, and control
- Helps in validating integrity of local and corporate financial statements for each of the Chilean legal entities.
- Helps validating reconciliation between SAP and product systems.
Risk reports and controls
- Helps generating and validating integrity of local regulatory reports.
Projects & New Product Initiatives
- Participate in the implementation of Chile office projects (new systems, regulations, etc.) or new products.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS:
- Graduated on Finance, Accountant or Business Administration.
- Knowledge in financial products (focus on derivatives) is a plus.
- Advanced English level
- Knowledge of MS Office package
- Good interpersonal and communication skills as the role requires frequent interaction with Front Office and other groups.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work under pressure and Pro-active and willing to accept responsibility.
