Aramark Canada Ltd. is currently seeking an outgoing, professional to join the Dalhousie Food Services team as a Driver. Reporting to the Vending Manager, the Driver will be responsible for delivering orders, delivering paperwork to office and assisting in the transfer of products between locations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years’ experience in driving position considered an asset
- Familiarity with Dalhousie campus considered an asset
- Ability to follow daily schedule
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must maintain neat and professional appearance at all times
- Must be able to see without impairment for inspection purposes and ability to read small text such as product warning labels
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull min. 45 lbs

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers and clients
- Coordinate with management team on daily paperwork delivers
- Support other departments during downtime
- Coordinate with vending manager on project for downtime if required
- Support the transfer of goods between locations
- Complete Bake Shop delivers to locations
- Respond to any customer questions or concerns at time of delivery
- Adhere to all Aramark policies and procedures, including occupational health and safety and food safety
- General preventative maintenance on vehicle (drivers checklist)
- Maintain safe and structured driving patterns in accordance with provincial law.
- Other duties as assigned
