Salvos Stores is looking for motivated Full-Time Permanent Driver to support Thornton Salvos Stores.
Reporting directly to the Logistics Supervisor you will ensure that donated goods are recycled correctly and efficiently, and that every customer leaves with a good experience. Working independently, you will you have good communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills to assist you with;

  • Loading/unloading loose goods, including furniture items;
  • Performing general labor tasks together with a jockey.
  • Distribution of goods to stores and assisting retail staff where required;
  • Presenting a professional work environment and positive customer experience;
  • Using an electronic device to complete delivery paperwork;
  • Maintaining safe WHS methods and driving practices;
  • Completing pre-start checks, reporting incidents, near misses and vehicle maintenance issues;
  • Warehouse duties, eg, processing donations, picking and packing, cleanliness and other duties as required by the Logistic Supervisor.
  • Working hours 8am-4p

Responsibilities:
