Description:
LOCATION: GWENT, NP23 8XF
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Driver’s Mate to play a vital role in our distribution service at Tradeteam, Ebbw Vale.
Responsibilities:
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- work alongside our warehouse team, coordinating the picking and loading of alcohol onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery
- accompany a driver to delivery points where you will assist with unloading deliveries to licensed premises / to customers’ homes
- maintain regular contact with the Transport team and advise of all problems which may prevent the job being completed on time and without incident
- complete relevant processes on an electronic handheld device
