Description:

DSHS MANAGEMENT ANALYST 5 - PROJECT MANAGER

We’re seeking a Project Manager to lead Olympic Heritage Behavioral Health (OHBH) in using data to coordinate, implement, monitor, and control facility-wide projects, while remaining aligned with the hospital, BHA, and DSHS strategic initiatives. You will ensure quality, safety, and efficiency by utilizing a data-driven, scientific approach to prioritize continuous improvements aligned with the hospital’s goals. You will lead the development of comprehensive project plans, including setting action deadlines and assigning responsibilities. Additionally, you will ensure projects remain on track and timely, manage all project requirements and deliverables, and oversee all project documentation.
King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and are eligible to receive a free ORCA card for transportation use. Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
This is an In-office position.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with hospital leadership in identifying and collecting metrics, conducting data analysis and reporting of information
  • Analyzes data for patterns and trends in patient care delivery; identifies barriers and works on countermeasures in collaboration with clinic staff
  • Collaborate with HIMS and QAPI departments in the collection and monitoring of metrics across departments/centers/disciplines to ensure the appropriate collection of quality metrics
  • Organize the work into manageable activity phases and determine an effective approach to completing the work
  • Responsible for creating and managing the project implementation plan and schedule
  • Collaborates with the project sponsor and the financial office to complete an accurate estimate of the project’s budgetary requirements
  • Analyze project risks, establish risk mitigation plans, and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating mitigating action
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on progress to plan, cost, and schedule reporting, and change control
  • Analyze the project performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with the project objectives
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
  • Responsible for implementing, training and deploying LEAN and Continuous Improvement initiatives as dictated by business/ facility need
  • Organizes and facilitates rapid improvement events
  • Leads cross-functional teams to deploy standard operating procedures and process improvements
  • Leads and facilitates training in LEAN principles hospital wide
  • Provides just-in-time Project Management training and mentoring for newly formed project teams
  • Develop and define KPIs and metrics that align with project objectives and organizational goals
  • Other duties as assigned
