As a Direct Service Professional (DSP) at A Caring Home of Michigan LLC, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities in our community. This full-time position is located in Farmington, MI, and offers a competitive salary range of $XX to $XX per hour.
Job Overview:
As a DSP, you will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This includes assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the overall well-being of each individual under your care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores
• Implement individualized care plans and goals
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals
• Maintain documentation and records of care provided
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
