Description:

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient with AutoTime or similar Time and Attendance software systems.
  • Ability to establish clear direction, distribute workload appropriately and maintain dialog with others for tasks and results working within a project management system.
  • Ability to work on-call schedules, including weekends, if necessary
  • Ability to effectively cope with change and shift gears comfortably especially when dealing with ambiguity.
  • Ability and dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Ability to support data extracts and data loads including data validations and transformations.

QUALIFICATIONS WE VALUE:

  • Being self-directed
  • Working knowledge of MS O365 products including Microsoft Teams
  • Working knowledge of SAP FICO modules
  • Experience developing / executing SQL scripts
  • Experience with report generation (building and modifying reports with SQL or Crystal Reports)
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems preferably Solumina
  • Experience within Aerospace and Defense sector
  • Familiarity with Windows Server Support activities
  • Familiarity with government accounting, including total time accounting
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • You will be the functional lead for the DT Business Systems & Transformation Time & Attendance systems handling all aspects of gathering requirements to architect and implement a solution, provide customer support for multiple business unites across the globe and assist with report generation with efforts related to mergers, acquisitions, divestures, moves, adds and closures.
  • Design, build, test and deploy HRIS solutions while ensuring that all the pieces work together seamlessly within the end-to-end system landscape.
  • You will design interfaces, improve processes and share data plus analyze and troubleshoot software / interface issues.
  • You will be involved in strategic initiatives for business strategies. The project activities will vary depending on approved scope and requirements. Activities include but are not limited to extracting data, segregating data via new company code or plant, functional testing and supporting transition service agreements.
  • You will influence the systems and mechanics needed to support continued operations through the transition service agreement period.
  • You will have ability to be an influential leader within the Time and Attendance team in coordinating activities, achieving deliverables and sharing responsibility.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

  • This position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role
