Description:
This post will play a crucial role in supporting UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) funded postgraduate researchers, predominantly by coordinating ¿Research in Practice¿ (RiP) placement activity for the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (NWSSDTP) between 2024 - 2029.
The role will be based at the University of Liverpool but will support students and staff across the five universities within the NWSSDTP: The University of Central Lancashire, Keele University, Lancaster University, the University of Liverpool, and the University of Manchester.
This role is externally funded by the ESRC and is designed to meet the ESRC¿s requirements for the delivery of the RiP aspect of the NWSSDTP grant ¿ that all NWSSDTP students should have the opportunity to undertake a three-month placement during the course of their studentship.
The role holder will be a member of the Faculty Research and Impact Support Team, reporting to the NWSSDTP Manager / Faculty Doctoral Training Officer and ultimately to the Head of Research Development and Delivery.
A degree, equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience is required for this role.
This post is for 28 hours per week (0.8 FTE), fixed term until September 2029.
