REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory/leader role within the cosmetics retail/service industry
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and adaptable to other systems as required
  • Strong working knowledge of retail operations, including cash and inventory control, markdown compliance, merchandise handling, and shrink management
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle due to operating hours
  • Successfully clear a criminal background check RAIC requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Selling and customer experience, team and service management, and product and presentation management
  • Promote quality customer service among staff by acting as a positive role model
  • Maintain employee attitude and morale by recognizing outstanding performance and service, motivating, and developing staff
  • Analyze sales data to set sales goals and implement sales programs to meet targets
  • Ensure pricing, signing, and ticketing of merchandise are accurate
  • Responsible for opening and closing the store and securing all assets
  • Ensure that the store is in compliance with all Airport, Provincial, and Federal employment laws/regulations
  • Oversee inventory counting at the end of the shift and conduct staff bag checks
  • Assume Terminal Manager’s responsibility in his/her absence
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times
  • Reconciliation of cash, card, and bank deposits
  • Investigate any cash discrepancies together with the cashier to identify and solve problems
  • Organize and coordinate shift plans.
