We are looking for an independent, responsible and enthusiastic intern for this all-round vacancy in our hotel. We are looking for co-creators like you!
As Duty Management Trainee you will assist and support the Managers on Duty at the Front Office, in Housekeeping, F&B and Kitchen. You will be working all-round in these operational departments and continuously be concerned about helping your colleagues and guests. Besides that, you are responsible for solving complaints and you will care for welcoming regular guests and VIP’s.
Moreover, you will carry out projects commissioned by the Front Office Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the operational departments where needed
- Giving tours in the hotel
- Welcoming VIP’s and escorting them to their rooms
- Correctly and hospitably addressing guests, as well as answering questions and giving information about various subjects
- Knowing sights or important cities in the direct surroundings
- Taking appropriate actions to solve guest’s complaints
- Checking public areas on tidiness and safety
- Doing spot-checks on the quality of tidiness in rooms and reporting this, by letter to the Executive Housekeeper
- Addressing guests and giving information to guests
- Support departmental plans and objectives, where hotel initiatives & targets are achieved
- Write reports involving security related incidents and guest or employee accidents.
- Carrying out own projects related to the improvement of the operational departments, in consultation with the General Manager
- Being aware of all Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and kitchen procedures and knowing how to act upon these procedures
- Contributing in improving the operation of the departments by giving suggestions concerning the processes and procedures to the Head of Department
- Leading, managing, supporting and coaching receptionists, Front Office Trainees, F&B All-rounders and Room Attendants.
Your role will be supportive, hands-on and business focused to act as an ambassador for the brand, reflecting the company culture and values. As an integral part of the team, you will work proactively to ensure guest satisfaction and the smooth running of the operational departments.
