We are looking for x 2 Duty Managers to be responsible for a team of Cleaning Co-ordinators to deliver the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene to the client, by ensuring that the buildings covered within the contract are fully maintained and safe through a planned and reactive Domestic programme. You will be required to work in a fast-moving healthcare operations environment with the ability to work on your own initiative, as part of a team, able to prioritise tasks and manage ever changing priorities. You will be the first line contact for the client and formulate swift responses to any matters raised in a confident and professional manner. Must have a flexible approach to working hours as you will support the management of a large domestic team, covering a 24-hour, 7-day a week operation.

You should have: -

  • Excellent management skills.
  • Strong organisation and time management abilities.
  • Great customer service skills to liaise with clients effectively.
  • Previous management experience in managing soft services/cleaning within facilities management in a Healthcare environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English and good IT literacy in Microsoft packages and soft FM specific software.
  • Good knowledge of NHS cleaning standards in the healthcare environment, BICSc, IP&C QHSE, SOP’s and SSoW.

You will be required to manage rosters on a daily basis ensuring appropriate cover is sought where required and resources are allocated effectively. Strong people skills are required ensuring colleagues feel valued and rewarded and policies and processes are enforced when necessary. You will report into the Head of Hygiene and must champion professionalism, positivity, and equitability, whilst leading by example.

Thursday - 12:00 to 19:30
Friday - 07:30 to 19:30
Saturday - 07:30 to 19:30
Sunday - 07:30 to 19:30
