JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for Duty Managers at Pleased To Meet You Morpeth.
As a Duty Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment. Your leadership skills, hospitality expertise, and commitment to excellence will contribute to maintaining our high standards of service.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in both a restaurant and bar setting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

    Pay: £29,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the bar.
  • Manage food service in the restaurant coffee shop
  • Oversee staff performance, providing guidance, motivation, and training as needed
  • Uphold exceptional guest services standards by engaging with customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment in adherence to food safety regulations
  • Monitor inventory/stock levels and place orders for supplies as necessary
  • Implement company procedures and standards to enhance operational efficiency
  • Handle cash and maintain accurate records
