Duty Manager

New World New Lynn is currently seeking a Duty Manager.
The successful applicant for this role will be responsible for planning and coordinating all facets of the day-to-day operations of the store over the course of a designated shift.
They must ensure that our store is always presented to the highest possible standard at every moment to provide the best overall shopping experience for our customers. They will also be responsible for solving any customer issues that may arise, making sure that team members are productive at all times and ensuring that the store is closed securely at the end of the night.
To be considered for this role they will need to have had 1 years’ experience in a large New World Supermarket. A proven ability to supervise or manage a medium to large sized team and be able to demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills. They will also have a great attitude and work ethic, honesty, a high level of integrity, display high presentation standards, great delegation skills and have an eye for detail.
A forklift license is required.

The successful applicant will be required to work a weekend shift. The pay package for this role will reflect the skills and potential of the successful applicant
