What you’ll do
- Management of employees including, team talks, delegation of tasks, training, etc.
- Encouraging a performance orientated work environment
- Guaranteeing and optimising the 5 Pillars of Sales and ensuring customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do
- Correctly implementing price changes and recording write-offs
- Maintaining adequate stock levels by correct ordering, efficient back stock organisation and ensuring merchandising principles are upheld.
- Ensuring cash management, key holding and safe holding is carried out correctly
- Correct office organisation and responding to back office mails
- Recording work and break times accurately
- Responsible for the store phone and responding to any temperature alarms
- Complying with company and leadership principles
- Complying with all health and safety procedures
Standard Customer Assistant duties are to be completed on all shifts when not assuming the role of Duty Manager.

What you’ll receive
Through our salary system, we ensure pay equality across all positions at Lidl
- €14.80 per hour rising to €16.90 per hour after 3 years
- Supplement of €3 per hour in addition to your normal hourly rate when acting as Duty Manager
- Additional supplements paid depending on the days & hours worked*
